Who said our strange game (and local media/online businesses) – which is now having players recruited from for Gridiron (eg Ben Graham / New York Jets) … wasn’t worth anything. Channel 7 + 10, esp Kerry Stokes, was always going to match Channel 9 + Foxtel’s bid : $780M for 5 years – I assume (although it would be different to prior years) Yahoo7 will then have the afl.com.au rights : “Ten and Seven will match the offer made by Publishing and Broadcasting to the Australian Football League including the consideration, namely $780 million ($87.5 million of which is contra) over five years, with such consideration to be shared between Ten and Seven based on match allocations across all television media”
